There Has GOT To Be An Easier Way!

Today, I spoke to a friend who was complaining about how long she was on the phone to set up an appointment with her favorite Reiki Practiitoner.

I said, "She needs the help of Boe."

"Who's Boe?"

I told here that Boe, Back Office Executive, is an online appointment management system which allows clients to make appointments online.

"Appointments online? You mean I could go online and make an appointment with my practitioner, and not have to wait while she locates her Daytimer, then talks to someone who walks in, then puts me on hold to answer another call. Then wait some more while she flips through her calendar to find an open date? You mean I could skip all that?

I said, "Yes. If she is a member of the Practitioners Back Office Network."

"I can make an appointment any time of day? And not have to waste my lunch hour playing phone tag with my practitioner?"

"Yes. Even if it is 2 AM."

"Really?"

"Yes! Really!"

"WOW! I really like that idea. Sign me up!"

I told here that for this to work, the practitioner has to be part of the network. Once the practitioner has an account with the Practitioners Back-office Network, then you just go into your account, locate her calendar, and set up your appointment, pay with credit card and be on your way.

"Wait. You said 'account'. Does that mean that I could go into MY account, and make appointments with anyone on your network? And I don't need a separate account with each one? Just sign in one time and make all my appointments?"

I told her that is the general idea.

"You said I could pay by credit card? My practitioner doesn't accept credit cards. I wish she did. Would be so much easier for me."

I told her that many people don't use traditional merchant accounts online. Instead, they use PayPal, because it is easy to set up, and very reasonably priced. Clients can pay with credit card, even if they don't have a PayPal account.

"Do you have business cards or brochures? I want my practitioners on that system! It just really should NOT take half an hour just to book an appointment with someone! Do you have a list of currently active practitioners? I wanna work with them. What type of people use this system?

WOW! She was so excited, and firing questions faster than I could answer.

I said, "Once you establish your account, you will be able to search for practitioners on the network. You can set up appointments from inside your own account with any practitioner who is on the network."

Who uses Boe?
Hypnotists, Chiropractors, doctors, dentists, Reiki Practitioners, Herbalists.
Really, anyone who works by appointment would benefit from using the Practitioner's Back-office.

"Who is Boe?"

"{chuckle} Well, I wanted to use something short so that I didn't have to continually say Practitioner's Back Office, which is a mouthful, and PBO just didn't really get it. So I came up with Back Office Executive, the first letters of each word = BOE. Created a personality of a super-efficient, take charge kinda person and ta-da! Boe, Back Office Executive, Extraordinaire. She can HANDLE your appointment calendar. I thought people would like working with Boe better than a computer system."

"Ahh... Cool. I like it. I want people that I patronize to use this. The price is reasonable, too. All the details are in the brochure?"

"Yes. And on the Website."

Taking a handful of brochures and business cards, she laughingly said, "I really like this idea. I will definitely have my people get in touch with your people. I so look forward to booking my appointments online.

Be Careful How You Name the Contacts on Your Cell Phone

~For people with cell phones~

Very interesting........

This lady has changed her habit of how she lists her names on her mobile
phone after her handbag was stolen. Her handbag, which contained her
cell phone, credit card, wallet... etc...was stolen. 20 minutes later
when she called her hubby, from a pay phone telling him what had
happened, hubby says ' I received your text asking about our Pin number
and I replied a little while ago. '

When they rushed down to the bank, the bank staff told them all the
money was already withdrawn. The thief had actually used the stolen cell
phone to text ' hubby ' in the contact list and got hold of the pin
number. Within 20 minutes he had withdrawn all the money from their bank
account.

Moral of the lesson: Do not disclose the relationship between you and
the people in your contact list. Avoid using names like Home, Honey,
Hubby, Sweetheart, Dad , Mom, etc..... And very importantly, when
sensitive info is being asked through texts, CONFIRM by calling back!!

Also, when you ' re being text by friends or family to meet them
somewhere, be sure to call back to confirm that the message came from
them. If you don ' t reach them, be very careful about going places to
meet ' family and friends ' who text you.

Along with that if you have an entry called ' Home ' with your actual
home phone number it ' s not too hard to do a reverse lookup on the
number to find the address. now the robber has your home number, keys,
AND address.

PLEASE PASS THIS ON! I never thought about THAT!

Not To Be Missed Movies

How long has it been since you watched a movie directed toward children? Many people I know think that once they are past the age of 15, or have no children of their own, that they are too old to watch children's movies. The thing about some children's movies is that they are intended to make you laugh, and sometimes you have to have some years of worldly experience to fully enjoy the "backdrop" of insinuation and unsaid. The great thing about watching a movie intended for children is that noone gets upset when you laugh out loud.

Over the past week, I have watched Up! and Night at the museum - Battle for the Smithsonian. Both were hysterically funny. I laughed until my ribs hurt. After that much laughter, I went home and slept soundly for the first time in weeks. I woke up the next day with an overall feeling of well-being and lightness of spirit.

Stop pretending to be above fun and get yourself to see either one of these movies while they are still playing on the big screen. Both have some elements of danger
and lots of adventure and may not be appropriate for some children under 8, so maybe
parents should have a date to view first, and then decide whether to take the children. Go! Enjoy! Laugh out loud.

An Indicator of Potential Heart Disease

In a study of more than 72,000 women without infection, those who had the highest levels of white blood cells (WBCs) – 6,700 to 15,000 – were more likely to die from heart disease (twice) than women with the lowest levels. Researchers believe this link also applies to men.

Theory: – WBC levels, which typically rise in response to infection, also can be a marker for inflammation, which weakens blood vessels and may trigger blockages leading to heart attack and stroke.

Inflammation Triggers: - Things that can trigger chronic inflammation may include such things as drug overuse, exposure to environmental toxins, free radical damage, infections, injury, trauma, and bacterial, fungal or viral infections. Any organ in the body can become inflamed.

First line of Self-defense: – Request a WBC count with your next blood test. A level above 6,700 may indicate increased risk for heart disease.

Next time, we will talk about ways that nutrition can reduce inflammation and the risks that chronic inflammation bring on. Stay tuned.

The Secret of Power

Here then is the secret of power, of personal mastery.

To overcome does not mean to go without things. Self-denial is not success. We cannot give unless we get; we cannot be helpful unless we are strong. The infinite is not a bankrupt and we as the representatives of Infinite power should not be bankrupt either, and if we wish to be of service to others we must have power and more power, but to get it we must give it; we must be of service.

The more we give, the more we shall get; we must become a channel whereby the Universal can express activity. The Universal is constantly seeking to express itself, to be of service, and it seeks the channel whereby it can find the greatest activity, where it can do the most good, where it can be of greatest service to mankind.

The Universal cannot express through you as long as you are busy with your plans, your own purposes; quiet the senses, seek inspiration, focus the mental activity on the within, dwell in the consciousness of your unity with Omnipotence. "Still water runs deep," contemplate the multitudinous opportunities to which you have spiritual access by the omnipresence of power.

Visualize the events, circumstances and conditions which these spiritual connections may assist in manifesting. Realize the fact that the essence and soul of all things is spiritual and that the spiritual is real, because it is the life of all there is; when the spirit is gone, the life is gone; it is dead; it has ceased to exist.

These mental activities pertain to the world within, to the world of cause; and conditions and circumstances which result are the effect. It is thus that you become a creator. This is important work, and the higher, loftier, grander and more noble ideals which yolu can conceive, the more important the work will become.

It is an outrage that in a country that is founded on principles of freedom and choice, that this freedom and choice does not include medical freedom of choice.

Did you know.....

91% of Oncologists in Canada will not treat themselves or their families with chemotherapy?

In the US, in 47 out of 50 states it is ILLEGAL for doctors to treat cancer in any way other than chemotherapy, radiation or surgery. That certainly does NOT mean that these are the ONLY ways to treat cancer?

Live Interview with Don

If you still believe that American medicine is the best, the World Health Organization ranked health systems of different countries all over the world. In general, health care in America ranks 37th. In male life expectancy it ranks 30th and infant mortality is 34th.

I Hear You and Jesus Sees You.

The burglar waited for the family to leave on their vacation.
He watched them pack the car and knew they would be gone for several days.
He waited until dark, then he went boldly to the door and rang the doorbell.
When no one answered, he easily picked the lock and opened the door.
He stepped in and closed the door then said, loudly, "IS ANYONE HOME?"

To his astonishment, he heard, "I hear you and Jesus sees you."

The burglar was astonished. He quickly moved against the wall and said, "Who's there?"

Again he heard, "I hear you and Jesus sees you."

So he turned on his flashlight and pointed it in the direction of the voice.
There was a parrot in the cage who again said, "I see you and Jesus sees you."

Then he found the light switch and turned it on and there, under the cage, was a HUGE doberman. The parrot screamed, "Attack, Jesus, attack!"
